Thanks to Adele, This Kanye West Classic Is Charting Again
Back in 2010, Kanye West released one of the most recognized hits of his career: "Monster." Though it was 'Ye's star track, Nicki Minaj's verse is what caught the world's attention, and just recently, Adele — who happened to know every lyric — slayed it. Thanks to her, the hip hop classic skyrocketing in the iTunes music charts.
Just to give you some context, James Corden welcomed the "Hello" crooner as the newest guest on his viral segment Carpool Karaoke. About halfway into the ride, the late night talk show host started playing "Monster" and Adele went in during Nicki's verse — hand gestures and all.
Now that the clip has officially gone viral, Kanye's track, which also features, Jay Z, Bon Iver, and Rick Ross, has re-entered the UK iTunes hip hop chart at No. 2, and is currently sitting at No. 8 in the U.S.
Of course, the Queen Barb saw the clip and loved every bit of it. Peep her reaction, below:
So, now that we know Adele can spit, can we get a collab with the three of them? It only seems right.
