Chris Bosh's Ex Sues Over Blocked TV Deal
Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh may have gotten the all-clear from the NBA to invite his teammates and coaches to his upcoming wedding, but he still has some baby mama drama to get out of the way before he walks down the aisle.
Bosh's ex Allison Mathis, who is the mother of his child, filed a lawsuit in Orlando today blaming him for getting her fired off of VH1's hit show "Basketball Wives" after she had already signed contracts and began taping episodes. Bosh allegedly told the show's producers that his ex was under court order not to appear on camera, and threatened his own lawsuit if she was on the show.
Mathis is claiming her ex's threats caused her to get the ax, and cost her at least $2500 per episode--not to mention all the perks that come along with being a D-list reality TV celebrity. If she were to appear on the show, she would be sharing screen time (and, possibly, catfights) with costars Shaunie O'Neal (Shaq's ex-wife), Evelyn Lozada (once engaged to Bosh's Heat teammate Antoine Walker) and Jennifer Williams (ex-wife of Eric Williams).
