Missy Elliott’s New Madame Tussauds Wax Figure Is Extraordinarily Accurate
Missy Elliott has been memorialized in a number of ways already. From a hometown street naming to a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. However, when it comes to her legendary image, she’s now being immortalized in wax form.
The Virginia-born rapper and producer has officially been honored with a life-like waxwork at Maddam Tussaud’s legendary museum.
“ATTENTION: VA My WAX FIGURE is OFFICIALLY immortalized in the @madametussaudsusa Museum in #LasVegas!” Missy wrote in an Instagram post under a picture of her hanging out it with her wax figure. “It’s caute YOU MUST SEE IT IN PERSON! The braids they did strand by strand! & My outfit is from the @vmas when I received the #Michael Video Vanguard Award!
She added: “Oh BTW my wax figure come with a Virtual Experience & there’s a screen beside it so you can do the #cooloffchallenge & be able to be apart of this EXPERIENCE Thank you so much to the AMAZING team who made this Historical.”
Elliott is only the latest rapper to be commemorated with her own Maddam Tussaud wax figure. Nicki Minaj received one at the Berlin location in 2020, while Kanye West’s removed from the London museum entirely after he went on an anti-Semitic tirade over the past few weeks.
