Doja Cat Makes A Grand Entrance During Paris Fashion Week Covered In 30,000 Swarovski Crystals Applied By Hand!
Doja Cat is breaking the internet with her latest look! On Monday (Jan. 23), the rapper and singer-songwriter commanded attention when she arrived at Schiaparelli’s 2023 Spring/Summer Haute Couture show adorned in 30,000 Swarovski crystals.
According to Vogue, the eye-catching look for the first day of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week was achieved by makeup artist Pat McGrath.
“Collaborating with the incomparably talented Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry was an absolute pleasure,” McGrath shared with the publication about the look she describes as “shimmering, scintillating, and subversive.”
The MUA explained that the glam, which featured 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals, took nearly five hours to achieve. The star completed her look with a Schiaparelli red silk bustier, a handknit skirt with lacquered wooden beads, crimson boots, and matching chandelier earrings.
McGrath described Doja’s patience and dedication to the artistic expression as “truly inspiring.”
