T-Boz Shares What Psychics Told Her About Left Eye
In a recent interview with HipHopDX, one-third of iconic girl group TLC T-Boz shared a word relayed to her from the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes that came from beyond the veil of the afterlife.
On Tuesday (Feb. 11), the music outlet published the Q&A where the R&B songstress reminisced on some of her most cherished moments from her 20-year career, her upcoming 50th birthday, and her new CBD wellness line, TLCBD. T-Boz recalled how “Creep” helped elevate her self-confidence and improve her sophistication as a young woman.
With regard to her late friend and groupmate, the interviewer asked T-Boz whether she’s attempted to spiritually connect to Lopes. “No, I don’t want to talk to anybody who’s passed away, because that’s spooky,” T-Boz responded. However, she did reveal that psychics often approach her with revelations that Left Eye’s spirit surrounds her.
“They tell me that she watches over my kids, but the stuff they’ve told me, there is no way they would know it! Only me and Lisa would know that stuff,” T-Boz shared.
T-Boz admitted that despite such comforting information, she was initially creeped out. “I was like, ‘Wait a minute. Does that mean she’s watching me all the time?’ Then I got used to it, and it’s not a bad thing because she’s watching over us,” she explained.
Elsewhere in the interview, T-Boz also opened up about living to see her 50th birthday.
“Celebrating 50, for me, is a super blessing being that I was told I wouldn’t live past 30,” she told HipHopDX. “I used to always wonder why I got through things, like, why I lived and why my cousin died, and why we had the same disease. I used to wonder why I’m here and what my purpose was. Then, not so long ago, maybe the last seven to eight years, I figured my purpose here was to help people, whether it’s through music or through sharing my testimony and being a ray of hope for someone.”
