Kelly Rowland Plans to Have a Small Wedding

The singer tells People magazine she doesn't want to pay to feed nosy people.

Those who were hoping to catch glimpses of Kelly Rowland's extravagant wedding will have to look elsewhere for their celeb glamour and glitz fix as the singer says she will be having a super small ceremony when she marries fiancé/manager Tim Witherspoon.
"I think we just really want it to be us and our pastor. That's it," she tells People. "I mean, we are the only two that's going to be in the marriage."
A small intimate wedding is fitting considering the couple's engagement was just as simple and sweet. This week, Rowland, 32, finally confirmed that she and Witherspoon were engaged over Skype while she was in Bulgaria and is over the moon to be marrying her best friend.
"It was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other," Rowland said on The Wendy Williams Show. "And he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes."
As for scaling her reception way down, Rowland says she doesn't need to spend money feeding hundreds of mouths just to show off her gown.
"You have to pay for food for everyone and I'm not down with that," she says. "Everyone is there just to be nosy and see who I'm wearing, you know. I'm okay."
