BET News Special: Herman Cain Answers to Black America

In an exclusive BET News special report, former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain talks in-depth about his fiery brand of Black conservatism and his departure from the 2012 presidential race.

In a groundbreaking BET News special report, former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain will open up to the Black audience about what he calls “scams perpetrated on Blacks” by liberal Black leaders, his fiery brand of Black conservatism and sex scandals that drove him from the GOP presidential race.

Hosted by the Emmy Award-winning news journalist and former KTLA anchor Emmett Miller, The Curious Case of Citizen Cain will investigate what Cain’s brand of Black conservatism means to African-American voters, as well as the legacy he leaves behind after departing from the presidential race on Dec. 3.

In the one-on-one interview, Cain’s most controversial dimensions will be explored: a Black man who admits to avoiding the civil rights movement, attacks the methods and motives of Jesse Jackson Sr., Julian Bond and Joseph Lowry, and openly embraces the Tea Party. For the first time, the former pizza magnate will tell the story of his own Black experience, as well as his meteoric rise from obscurity to becoming the first Black candidate in American political history to lead a Republican presidential field.

The exclusive interview special, "The Curious Case of Citizen Cain" premieres Thursday, Dec. 8, at 9 p.m. ET/PT — only on BET Networks.
