‘RHOA’s’ Shereé Whitfield Accused Of Not Paying Her Assistant

The rumors bubbled up during the May 15 episode!

After making her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shereé Whitfield is already in the middle of some controversy after Season 14 of the Bravo show premiered on May 1.

During Sunday’s (May 15) episode, while chatting with newly-promoted housewife Marlo Hampton, Whitfield discovered that she was being accused of not keeping up with a few bills, including paying her assistant, according to PEOPLE.

“Guess what Kandi told me, that you [and fellow cast member Drew Sidora] have the same assistant, and you don’t pay him,” Hampton said.

Whitfield responded, referring to her assistant Anthony, “He didn’t do anything!”

“Why the hell wouldn’t Kandi call and tell you?” Hampton inquired. “She should’ve came to me first,” Whitfield responded. “I’m surprised you’re saying any of this.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Sidora chatted with Anthony to get his side of the story.

“Let me say this, I love Shereé deeply,” he said. “That’s one of my good, good girlfriends, but I had to cut off all business ties with her. We all know, and it’s no shade, but she don’t like to pay.”

Drew furthered her narrative in her sit-down interview, speaking with the Bravo cameras, “I’m not trying to be messy, but Anthony said she never paid him, and I’ve heard that from multiple people.”

With the rumors swirling around, it’s unclear if this hot button issue will come up again during Season 14.

Whitfield, who is an original cast member for the Georgia peach franchise, first exited the RHOA reality television series before returning for Season 9 and Season 10.

“I feel super blessed to have come back for the third time,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “To even consider me or [have] the fans who continuously have supported me throughout the years and asked for my return and for them to listen. Housewives is a very smart brand, and they go with what worked, and I guess I worked.”

Now that the OG has returned fans are surely in for a treat this season!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET only on Bravo.
