The trailer for Mechad Brooks’ latest film project, a horror film entitled Creature, has hit the Web. The indie film features the True Blood star as Nile, a trained Navy Seal who opts for a road trip with a group of friends while on leave. While en route to New Orleans, they make a pit stop in the Bayou that quickly turns into a nightmare in which they’re hunted by a local swamp legend known as Lockjaw.

Mechad Brooks’ girlfriend, actress Serinda Swan, plays his fiancée, Emily. The two met on the set of the film. Creature is scheduled to hit theaters in the fall.
