Welp: One Rapper is Willing to Perform at Donald Trump's Inauguration...
Whether exemplified through their art, such as during YG and Nipsey Hussle's track, "FDT," or in their activism, such as Chance the Rapper's march to the polls, or in their public appearances, such as Jay-Z's campaigning for Hillary Clinton, majority of the rap community didn't let their disapproval of Donald Trump go unnoticed.
One rapper, however, today said that he has no problem whatsoever performing at Trump's Inaugural Ball, if the price was right.
In a new interview video courtesy of TMZ, RiFF RAFF has boldly stated that he'd be willing to do his thing during Trump's inaugral ceremony for a pricetag of $50,000.
"I was born in America," the rapper begins. "And I love money. So why wouldn't I?"
From there, RiFF RAFF, notorious for his humor and creativity, gets serious for a moment about how it's up to people and communities themselves to take action from within and work on being better people.
"Regardless of whoever the President is, I know I need to improve myself and wake up in the morning and make more money than I made last year," RAFF says. "It's really hard when you have a government that takes money from you. I don't believe in taking money from somebody who works hard."
He then explains his own taxes, which have been upwards of almost a million dollars, and how he's interested (like many Americans) in paying less back to the government.
"I've had enough money taken away from me by the government," RiFF RAFF continues. "Why shouldn't I perform?"
