Keke Palmer Shares Heartfelt Tribute to Son Leodis on His 2nd Birthday
Keke Palmer never misses a chance to celebrate her greatest role—being a mom.
The “Just One of Those Days” star marked her son Leodis’ second birthday with a heartfelt tribute and a fun-filled party that was nothing short of magical. From a bouncy house to a petting zoo and even a special visit from Blippi, the day was packed with everything the toddler loves.
Posting from Leodis’ Instagram page, Palmer shared professional photos from the big day, complete with a caption written from his perspective.
“Happy Birthday TO MEEEEE! I had the best birthday ever!! It started off with my mommy braiding my hair. She really annoyed me with that, but we were watching Nemo, so I was distracted enough 😅,” the post read.
The message continued with sweet details about his party and a nod to his father: “I was looking for my Dad, but he’s serving currently and I felt him in spirit. Was very happy to see my uncles and my grandpa and happy we were all there together. My friends and family, new and old—I am a very very GRATEFUL kid.”
On her personal Instagram, Palmer shared a carousel of videos and photos highlighting special moments from the past two years. The post included clips of her braiding his hair, kissing him on the cheek as a baby, and the two making silly faces together.
“My life can and will never be the same. You have made me who I will forever be, a MOTHA,” she wrote. “Leodis, from the moment you were in my stomach, I knew you were a strong little boy. I could just feel it! Even though you are no longer in my stomach, you are in fact my greatest strength.”
Palmer first announced she was pregnant during her hosting gig on SNL at the tail end of 2022 before she welcomed Leodis with ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson in February 2023.
