Brittany Renner Admits That She Ignored ‘Red Flags’ When Getting Into Relationship With PJ Washington
Brittany Renner accepted some of the blame for her broken relationship with NBA player PJ Washington. During an appearance on “Wags Unfiltered,” Renner admitted that she made a mistake by ignoring “red flags,” indicating that she should not have gotten into the relationship in the first place.
"I kinda knew what I was already signing up for being with someone younger.… As much as I could laugh and look at all the red flags, there was a lot of things on my end too,” Renner states in an Instagram video posted on April 28.

“Number one was believing in untapped potential that never materialized. It never happened. He's young, too, another red flag.… And then I'm like 'he's impressionable' so I was like [I can fix him]."
Renner says in the video that she’s six years older than the Charlotte Hornets star. According to the New York Post, she met him at age 26 when Washington was playing basketball for the University of Kentucky.
They now have a son together, and Renner says she has been defending herself from rumors that she had their child to “bamboozle” him for money. Washington was said to be paying her up to $200,000 per month in child support.
