Stacey Dash Defends Paula Deen for Use of N-Word
Paula Deen has been losing endorsement deals left and right since news broke of her past use of the N-word, but she's also finding friends in unexpected places.
Stacey Dash is the lastest celebrity to come out in support of the cooking show host, who was fired by Food Network this week. "God does everything for a reason," Dash tweeted on Tuesday. "Only God can judge your heart. BTW my daughter loves your show (only way she can get me to cook)."
Dash joins CNN's Roland Martin, MSNBC's Al Sharpton and fellow chef Joe Randall as Black media personalities who have publicly supported Deen during her PR meltdown. Of course, Twitter fans for the most part are not supporting Dash's decision to speak in favor of the chef-mogul.
This isn't the first time Dash has invoked the ire of the Twitter-sphere. She also caught heat for coming out in support of Republican candidate Mitt Romney for president.
