Speculation mounts about what led to the tragic deaths of Stephanie Moseley, 30, and her husband, Earl Hayes, 34, some saying that the rapper went into a jealous rage over the VH1 star's alleged adulterous relationship with Trey Songz.

"He was crushed and never got over it," a source close to Hayes told TMZ.

Apparently the infidelity with the singer was one of many that he accuseed her of having, and was the cause for a separation between the couple two years ago.

Songz has not responded to the rumors, but did post a message of prayer for the actress/back-up dancer soon after news broke that she and Hayes were found dead inside an L.A. apartment. "R.I.P babygirl. Once an angel on earth, now watching over us from Heaven. You'll b missed but never forgotten. Love," he tweeted.

An LAPD SWAT Team responded to a call for backup Monday morning (Dec. 8) after patrol officers were alerted to shots fired, and heard additional shots themselves.

According to reports from the initial investigation, Hayes shot Moseley, then turned the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide. The LAPD is still investigating.
