50 Cent Says He’s ‘Packing His Bags’ If Trump Loses Election
50 Cent now says that he plans on “packing” his bags if Donald Trump loses the presidential election on November 3.
On Tuesday (October 20), the G-Unit honcho shared a comment left by Ari Melber, the host of MSNBC’s “The Beat With Ari Melber,” on one of his recent posts of clips from a news segment on Fox News earlier this week.
Melber poked fun at the Queens-bred rapper, writing, “You getting your news from over there now?!”
He playfully added, “50 come home,” accompanied by a peacock emoji.
Fifty responded by sharing a screenshot of Melber’s comment and tagging the journalist in a separate post. “@arimelber explain 62% to me,” he posed. “I’m packing my bags. Everybody that has money is gonna move.”
This comes after 50 Cent expressed his support for Trump over Joe Biden after seeing his proposed tax plan earlier this week. According to CNBC, under Biden’s tax plan, tax rates would increase for people who earn over $400,000 per year, while those who make less would receive a tax cut. People living in California, New Jersey, New York State, and New York City could see their tax rate go up to as high as 62 percent, a prospect that Fifty wasn’t too happy about.
“WHAT THE F**K! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT,” Fifty wrote. “F**K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f***ing mind.”
The Queens-bred rapper later doubled down on his stance, writing, “Yeah, i don’t want to be 20 cent. 62 [percent] is a very, very, bad idea. I don’t like it!”- advertisement
In response, comedian Chelsea Handler later tweeted out that he was no longer her “favorite ex boyfriend.”
Fifty reposted her remark on Instagram where he responded, “oh my God this is affecting my love life now. @chelseahandler I love ya Gator, don’t let Trump and joe Biden come between us girl.”
