Azealia Banks Accused of Tweeting Genitals
Getting a negative response from Azealia Banks doesn’t seem to take much work. The Harlem rapper is being accused of tweeting a photo of her genitals to a conservative blogger in reaction to a story written about her.
Blogger Matt Walsh penned “Dear Azealia Banks, Please Feel Free To Leave America And Never Return” last week, chastising the 23-year-old over her comments in Playboy magazine. He took specific issue with Banks stating that she hates “fat white Americans.”
Walsh admitted to having “no idea” Banks “existed” prior to the Playboy cover story. He suspects that mainstream media tried to gloss over her racial comments. “It goes without saying of course that if your skin complexion were a few shades lighter, and your venom aimed at skin complexions a few shades darker, your comments would be headline news,” predicted Walsh. “There would be boycotts all over the country, and you’d be forced to apologize amid a sea of death threats.”
Digging further, Walsh used Justin Bieber as an example. Had Bieber “casually opined that he hated black Americans,” the response would be much different, he wrote.
Finally, Walsh claims Banks is being “congratulated” for “racist language,” sarcastically offers countries she should move to and throws in this assertion: “Do you know who is most responsible for the continued struggles of blacks in America? You, Ms. Banks. You and people like you. You are the problem. You are at fault."
The fiery op-ed, written for The Blaze and shared more than 50,000 times, caught Banks’s attention. Walsh tweeted over the weekend, “I write a post to @AZEALIABANKS. She responds by tweeting me a photo of her vagina. Sexual harassment? Or is that just when guys do it?”
He added, “Poor @AZEALIABANKS. If only you could read and write, you might have other ways of communicating besides flashing your genitals.”
Banks hit back with “shut up Mayo,” after sending Walsh (and his wife) a photo of her Playboy cover. She allegedly deleted the tweet of her genitals.
