Here's Why Some Americans Are Terrified and Disgusted by Trump's Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement Office
Some fear VOICE is racist propaganda that will lead to genocide.
During his joint address on Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump announced that his administration has formed a new agency that will essentially keep a record of all crimes committed by immigrants.
"I have ordered the Department of Homeland Security to create an office to serve American victims," Trump said to members of congress. "The office is called VOICE — Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement. We are providing a voice to those who have been ignored by our media and silenced by special interests."
When Trump finished his statement announcing the creation of VOICE, audible groans were heard coming from members of the Democratic Party.
