Looks like Michael Vick not only learned his lesson, but is now trying to keep others from walking down the same path he did, too. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is fully supporting a Congress bill called "Animal Fighting Spectator Prohibition Act of 2011" that not only prohibits attendance at organized dogfighting events, but would also penalize those that bring minors to the fight.

Currently, dogfighting is illegal and a federal crime nationwide while being a spectator is illegal in 49 states and a felony in only 28.

In 2007, Vick served 19 months in prison for organizing animal fights and has since been at churches and schools with Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States.

"In prison I told myself I want to be part of the solution, not the problem," Vick says. "These laws are not to punish people, but prevent people from getting involved."
