Report: Justin Bieber May Face Felony Charge
Justin Bieber could be staring down his biggest legal offense to date.
According to the Associated Press, the Los Angeles County D.A.'s office is considering felony vandalism against the 19-year-old pop star for allegedly egging his neighbor's house and causing $20,000 worth of destruction.
The felony comes into play due to the dollar amount of damage the neighbor claims Beiber caused.
Police raided the Canadian singer's Calabasas, Calif. mansion last month in search of evidence in the case, including the teen's own surveillance footage. Authorities are pushing for the felony charge as well. "I went to the D.A.'s office today with the paperwork and I want a felony," Lt. Dave Thomas told TMZ.
The Los Angeles D.A. will make a decision sometime next week, in what could turn out to be another bad month for the The Biebs. He closed out January with two arrests on the books, and kicked off the first two weeks of February with claims he smoked weed on his private jet, and harassed a female flight attendant.
His friends also aren't doing so well either. Three members of his circle, Lil Za, Lil Twist, and Khalil Sharieff, have all gotten into trouble either with Bieber, or over incidents connected to him.
As for how Bieber's been holding up, he doesn't seem slowed down by legal woes. In between partying without a shirt, JB has apparently found time for the studio. The singer tweeted "Always working always creating," early this morning.
