DMX Announces Redemption of the Beast Album
Earlier today, X announced the release of his eight studio album, Redemption of the Beast, due out next week. The independent album will drop under Seven Arts Entertainment, and features 16 tracks, including his current single, “It’s Going Down.”
Redemption of the Beast showcases X’s “signature heavy-hitting” bars coupled with “moments of reflection on his experience in the rap game,” according to a news release sent to BET.com. Freeway and Jannyce make guest appearances on the upcoming album.
Although he has endured a share of career peaks and pits throughout the years, X remains among the five best-selling rappers of all time. The 44-year-old Yonkers native's last LP, Undisputed, came out in 2012.
Redemption of the Beast will be available Tuesday, Jan. 13 via iTunes.
