  • Kendrick Lamar Tapped for 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show

    Kendrick Lamar is set to bring his powerhouse artistry to the world’s biggest stage, headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans on February 9, 2025. Collaborating with Dave Free and their pgLang creative team, the "Not Like Us" rapper is expected to deliver a must-see performance at the iconic Caesars Superdome.

    Days after the announcement, the Compton native dropped an untitled five-minute track on Instagram. The post features only audio and a picture of Nike shoes, with no caption or additional information provided.

  • Future Announces ‘Mixtape Pluto’ Release Date

    Future has finally confirmed the arrival of his long-awaited project, Mixtape Pluto, dropping on September 20, 2024. In an Instagram post, the “WAIT FOR YOU” rapper shared the cover art, declaring, “F**k the publicity I got this out the mud. MIXTAPE PLUTO 9-20-24.” He also teased fans with a sneak peek of a new track, “Too Fast,” via a trailer.

    After over a year of hints, Mixtape Pluto will also feature a collaboration with Travis Scott, who recently teased their track "South of France" on his X account.

  • A'ja Wilson Shatters Single-Season Scoring Record

    A'ja Wilson has added yet another achievement to her stellar WNBA career, breaking the single-season scoring record with a clutch free throw late in the second quarter against the Indiana Fever. 

    The Las Vegas Aces star surpassed Jewell Loyd's 939-point mark, finishing the game with 27 points and 12 rebounds in an 86-75 win. Now sitting at 956 points, Wilson is on track to become the first player in WNBA history to reach 1,000 points in a season.

During an appearance on the “Rolling Stone Music Now” podcast, Saadiq shared that D'Angelo is in a great creative space. “He’s excited," Saadiq said. "He’s like, ‘You gotta play bass. I’ve got this track... It’s got your name all over it.’” D'Angelo is reportedly working on six new pieces, with Saadiq playing bass and contributing to a track he describes as "funky as hell."

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, making it a special tribute to her late father and his legacy.

    “Happy birthday, daddy! 9/7/24 this for you,” she wrote, and gave a heartfelt shoutout to her partner: “@derrtymillionz, we did it... I love you, husband." She wrapped it up by saying, "Baby is here y’all!!! 6 pushes! All natural.”
