Nipsey Hussle's Epic Puma Collaboration Sells Out Less Than 24 Hours After Release
Yesterday (Sept. 5), Puma released its PUMA x TMC (The Marathon Continues) collection, created ahead of his tragic death, to pay homage to the deceased rapper Nipsey Hussle.
ICYMI: The beloved rapper, philanthropist and businessman was murdered on March 31 when he was shot by Eric Holder Jr. multiple times in the parking lot of his store, Marathon Clothing, in South Los Angeles.
According to Puma’s Instagram, 100% of the net proceeds from the sales are going directly to the Neighborhood “Nip” Foundation. “Nipsey always put his community first and we know he wouldn’t want it any other way,” it states.
As expected, the 19-piece collection has already sold out, and people are eager to get their hands on the collection, which includes a marathon-themed MCS tracksuit and the iconic California sneaker in two colors which represent the legend. Thus far, there’s no word on an expected date when they will restock the collection.
Actress Lauren London, Nipsey's fiance, shared the anticipation of the PUMA x TMC collection and wrote that Nipsey was elated to work on this collaboration. “He was really excited about this collection,” she shared with her 8.5 million followers.
Check out the touching video tribute that Lauren posted on the ‘gram. We promise you, it will make you smile.
