Missy Elliott Offers A Reward For Her Missing Diamond Chain
Sad news for Missy Elliott.
On Wednesday, the famed rapper revealed that although she snagged a prestigious gold Moon Person at Monday night’s 2019 MTV VMAs, she, unfortunately, left the music-filled festivities with one less diamond chain.
Apparently, while the MTV Video Vanguard Award winner was serving an A+ performance of her greatest hits, the diamond necklace disappeared backstage.

Not willing to let the "misdemeanor" go, Missy took to her Instagram Stories in search of the missing bling.
“Anyone found this necklace at the VMAs backstage or know anything about it there’s a reward,” the 48-year-old rapper wrote on her IG Story showing a close-up of her missing chain before adding, “It’s the shorter one…thanks.”
It is still unclear when the emerald-cut diamonds-framed chain went missing, but Missy’s chain was clearly absent when she made her acceptance speech. Instead, she sported a long chain with a striking diamond “Iconic” pendant.
Fingers crossed that someone finds the necklace and returns it to the music legend. And if someone did take it, in the words of Missy’s new hit: “Throw It Back.”
