To celebrate, boyfriend and New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard decided to propose and got down on one knee for the occasion.

Each took to Instagram to let the world know that they’re going to tie the knot.

“A night full of tears of happiness,” Chanel captioned under a pic of Sterling’s proposal. “I’m beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with you @sterl_shep3 you are my soulmate, my best friend, my everything! Can’t wait to be your Mrs.”

Shepard expressed a similar excitement under the same pic on his account. “The catch of my dreams...can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!” he wrote.

The pair initially met at Victor Cruz’s birthday party last November. Iman had worked with Cruz on numerous photo shoots. At the time, Shepard was a teammate and fellow WR for the Giants.
