Michigan Certifies Biden’s Win As Trump Refuses To Concede
Despite countless lawsuits and Tweets, Michigan, which Trump lost by over 150,000 votes, has officially been certified.
According to Politico, “Michigan’s state Board of Canvassers certified the vote with three yes votes and one abstention, a bipartisan decision affirming Biden’s victory over Trump.”
The news comes shortly after a federal lawsuit was filed by a group of Detroit voters claiming that Trump’s presidential campaign was discriminating against Black voters by trying to block the certification of votes in Wayne County, Michigan.
The development came in the midst of Trump launching lawsuits in several states attempting to change the results of the 2020 presidential election, which he soundly lost.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said in a statement, “The people of Michigan have spoken. President-elect Biden won the State of Michigan by more than 154,000 votes, and he will be our next president on January 20th.”
In addition, another Trump election lawsuit was thrown out in Pennsylvania on November 23. The Trump campaign has now had 35 court losses in their efforts to overturn Democracy.
