Botham Jean’s Neighbor And Key Prosecution Witness In The Amber Guyger Murder Trial Found Dead
Joshua Brown, the next-door neighbor of Botham Jean and key prosecution witness in the murder trial of former Dallas cop Amber Guyger was reportedly shot and killed in Dallas, Texas, on Friday night.
Brown was reportedly found shot multiple times when officers arrived on the scene around 10:30 p.m. to the Atera apartments, located at the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road.
According to the Dallas Morning News, “several witnesses flagged down police and directed them to Brown's location. Police found him on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.”
The news report continued, “He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.”
No suspect description has yet to be released but several witnesses reportedly, “told police they heard several gunshots and saw a silver four-door sedan speeding out of the parking lot.”
Both Lee Merritt, the attorney for Botham Jean’s family, and Dominique Alexander, a Dallas area civil rights activist posted about his death via Facebook.
