O.T. Genasis Releases New Single, 'Ricky'
Busta Rhymes's protégé O.T. Genasis became a household name after the explosion of “CoCo” last year. In hopes of catching another viral hit, he released his next single “Ricky” today.
The Conglomerate representative isn’t going to let fame and fortune erase his drug-dealing past. On “Ricky,” which references Dave Chappelle’s famous skit portraying Rick James, he raps about being the man of his city and flooding the streets with cocaine. “I’m Ciroc like I’m Diddy / All this coke; I’m feeling like I’m Ricky!”
The turn-up anthem has the potential to become 2015’s “CoCo.” With other club-ready tracks like “Touchdown” under O.T.’s belt, he’s looking for the three-peat. The single follows another banger, “The Flyest,” that came out in the beginning of April.
