Drake Breaks Spotify Record

if You're Reading This, It's Too Late was streamed more than 17 million times in three days.

There’s a new king of Spotify streams, and his name is Aubrey "Drake" Graham.

If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, Drizzy's surprise album/mixtape that dropped late last week, racked up over 17.3 million streams in three days, reports the Associated Press.

The record-breaking numbers are good enough for October’s Own to beat his Nothing Was the Same album, which was streamed 15.6 million times, and J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive debut at 15.7 million streams in week one.

That’s not all, Drake set a record for the most single-day Spotify streams with 6.8 million plays on Feb. 14 alone. And he's on pace to sell over 500,000 in first-week sales on the Billboard 200 giving him a fourth straight No. 1 album.
