Beyoncé Confirmed to Perform at the Grammys

It's official! Common has confirmed that Queen Bey wil hit the stage at the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday night. The pop superstar will play an important part in the show's special Selma tribute.
Speaking with US Weekly, the "Glory" rapper said, "We do have an incredible introduction to our performance. A segue into our song 'Glory,' as a tribute to Selma, being done by the great Beyoncé. That's one of the greatest talents you can have, helping us segue into it. To co-create a performance with someone like her. It's good."
Beyoncé, Common and John Legend will hit the stage at the 2015 Grammy Awards on Feb. 8, 2015.

Silent prayers for more Beyoncé may be answered this weekend at the Grammys; word is the "Pretty Hurts" singer will join a special tribute to the multiple award-winning drama Selma.
Common, who appears in the film, and John Legend (fresh off of singing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIX) are already among the lineup of announced performers. Both recorded the Selma soundtrack song "Glory" together.
Bey, an accomplished actress herself, has been on the run. Literally. She and Jay Z wrapped up their first joint tour last year, which came after she wrapped her own The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and dropped her acclaimed self-titled album without any warning to fans, or most people on her team, for that matter.
She punctuated her year-plus-long global jaunt with an opening performance at the 2014 Grammys, delivering a rendition of "Drunk in Love" with Jay.
Although reps for the Recording Academy have yet to confirm Beyoncé's appearance this year, she's at least expected to show, reports Billboard. Bey is up for six Grammy Awards. There's also this possible hint (really, no one ever really knows with Beyoncé): last week she posted a "Happy Birthday" message to Oprah, one of Selma's producers.
Meanwhile, Madonna, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga are also among the list of confirmed acts. And Usher, Pharrell, Janelle Monáe and Sam Smith are among the vocalists slated for a Stevie Wonder tribute from the Grammys, scheduled to air on CBS Feb. 16.
The 2015 Grammy Awards airs this Sunday (Feb. 8) live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles with LL Cool J as host.
