Talk about a whirlwind week. Keyshia Cole just dropped not one, but two new singles.
Wednesday (March 19), the Internet got a first listen of "Rick James," featuring Three 6 Mafia's Juicy J. Produced by Donut and First Born, the song finds Cole singing about a broken relationship, and promising to "slap a b***h like Rick James."
As of press time, it had already been listened to 86,848 times (and prompted countless jokes on Twitter about boots on couches).
Thursday, she followed it up with "Next Time (Won't Give My Heart Away)," produced by Amadeus. Cole wrote the ballad, which talks about a relationship that has run out of love. Excited fans on Soundcloud flooded the comments, saying, "She's back!"
Both songs are slated to appear on her sixth studio album, the aptly titled, #6, which is set for an early summer release.
