Michelle Williams Addresses Viral Plane Incident Involving Passenger’s Bare Foot

The Broadway star says she was left in disbelief by the mid-flight encounter.

Michelle Williams is not here for mile-high messiness.

Over the weekend, the Destiny’s Child alum and Broadway star had a front-row seat to one of the nastiest displays of bad airplane etiquette—and she wasted no time calling it out.

In a now-viral post, the Grammy award winner uploaded a photo of a passenger in the first-class cabin who had the audacity to stretch their bare foot onto their shared cabin wall.

“I PROMISE YOU BETTA GETCHO FOOT FROM ME!!!!,” she wrote in the caption. “Y’all this is happening neowwwwwwww on my flight and I am crying real tears!!”

Williams, who’s currently starring in the Broadway adaptation of “Death Becomes Her,” got even more candid in the comments section. “For those asking…….. YES I am sitting in the first class cabin……a lot of AUDACITY resides in that booking class……. OBVIOUSLY!! #seat3F the f is for feet,” she quipped. The star revealed she took action. “I elbowed 'it!' Now I gotta take my coat to the cleaners,” she added.

Williams later followed up with another video, joyfully announcing that she had “made it out” of the bizarre ordeal. “It tried to take me out,” she said, wearing a black sweater and green cap. “You ever think you see something out of your peripheral and you just blow it off?”

It turned out she wasn’t seeing things. “I was flying first class. My seat was 3F, and I didn't know the F was going to be for feet. I just can't,” she said, shaking her head in disbelief.

The singer explained she had been flying back to New York City from Chicago, where she attended a funeral, and was headed straight into her Broadway run. Despite the madness, Michelle kept it cute and classy, reminding folks, “It don't matter to me what class you fly. I don't care. I still like Southwest… You're not going to shame me.”

Thankfully, the story had a happy ending. Williams informed her supporters that “all is well” and that she  made it back to New York City, but the incident left her “crying real tears.”
