Kylie Inks Major Fashion Deal, and It Isn't With 'Team Yeezy'
Well, this may cause some waves. After days of speculation, it appears the news of Kylie Jenner joining the ranks of Puma as a brand ambassador are true.
In a statement, Adam Petrick, the global director of brand and marketing for Puma, confirmed the new partnership. "I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that Puma is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s Spring/Summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for Puma."

The 18-year-old's role appears to be in a more limited capacity than Rihanna, who is the athletic wear label's global brand ambassador and Puma Women's creative director.
What is apparent, however, is Kylie's brother-in-law Kanye West's total disdain for the collaboration. Kylie has frequently sported his Adidas Yeezy Boost sneakers in her social media. Last week, he unleashed a vicious Twitter rant practically banning Kylie from taking a check from a competing brand.
"1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That’s on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!," he tweeted. "Puma we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!!"
