David Beckham Will Give “Body” to H&M \r
The British transplant, who recently modeled for Armani underwear, is planning to launch his own clothing line with H&M by next Valentine’s Day.
David Beckham may not be as famous for his fashion sense as his wife, Victoria, but it’s not stopping him from trying his hand in the retail business anyway. According to Yahoo!, he’s teaming up with the popularly inexpensive Swedish clothing chain known for doing one-shot guest-designer collaborations with super big names like Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Lanvin and Jimmy Choo.
Yet unlike these other designers, 36-year-old Beckham will be a mainstay, selling men’s bodywear through the company. In a recent statement, the father of four says, "Over the past year, I've been developing my bodywear range with my team and I'm extremely positive about what we have designed and produced.”
While he said the last piece to the puzzle was deciding which outlet to work with, H&M couldn't have been too hard a choice considering they have stores in 40 countries worldwide.
