The show is over for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton. The "Blurred Lines" singer publicly tried to save his marriage, but to no avail as Patton officially filed for divorce from the R&B singer on Wednesday.

According to TMZ, the Jumping the Broom actress filed in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. Patton, 38, also requested joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old son, Julian.

The site also states that, contrary to the drama played out in the press, the divorce is "harmonious," with both parties working amicably to settle issues of custody and property.

In case anyone was wondering, Patton says that the official date of separation from Thicke, 37, was February 21, 2014.
