Azriel Clary Has Reunited With Her Family

This comes after it was reported that Azriel had moved out R. Kelly’s Trump Tower condo in December.

According to newly surfaced photos, it appears R. Kelly’s former girlfriend Azriel Clary has officially broken off all of her ties with the fallen R&B singer.

  • As recently reported, the 22-year-old moved out of Kelly’s condo at the Trump Tower based in Chicago as of December 2019. She was reportedly staying with R. Kelly’s other rumored live-in girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage. To celebrate her newfound freedom, Clary posted a series of photos to her personal Instagram of a surprise reunion with her loved ones on Tuesday (Jan. 14).

“Surprise,” Clary wrote on the post’s accompanying caption. “Let the healing process begin. Love y’all and thank y’all. I even thank everyone who follows me...because you all believed in me when I could not believe for myself.” She also tagged the post, “#movingontobetterdays.”

  • As you’ll recall, Clary and Savage’s families both spoke to Lifetime for both of their investigative documentary specials Surviving R. Kelly and this year’s sequel, The Reckoning. During both appearances, their families revealed that their daughter had become estranged from them due to their relationship with Kelly.

The latest update comes on the heels of a TMZ report that Joycelyn Savage recently saw her parents and immediate family members for the first time in over three years at a courthouse. The 23-year-old spoke with them for 20 minutes following the hearing for her misdemeanor battery charge stemming from her recent physical altercation with Clary earlier this month. Savage’s parents reportedly left her with their contact information so she can reach out to them.

  • Savage had continued to remain by Kelly’s side throughout his legal ordeal. The 52-year-old is currently incarcerated in Chicago as he awaits his first trial in April.

Meanwhile, Clary has since renounced her past support for the 52-year-old in a series of posts across social media. In 2019, Clary and Savage were interviewed by Gayle King on CBS where both women staunchly defended Kelly and their relationship with him.

We can only hope this means that both women are ready to turn over a new leaf and start the next chapter of their lives free from the taint of R. Kelly.
