Here’s The Cardi B Joke That Sent Azealia Banks Over The Edge On ‘Wild ‘N Out’

A clip from the painfully awkward stage moment has surfaced.

Harlem femcee Azealia Banks’ uproarious controversy with Nick Cannon and his Wild ‘N Out crew, in which “The Big Bang” rapper accused them of attacking her with misogynoir and anti-Black taunting in front of a live-show audience will finally make its way to television on Friday night (August 24).

But before you tune in to the MTV hit series’ official Ice Princess premiere episode, TMZ has obtained the moment in question when a Cardi B joke hurled from DC Young Fly set off an awkward and unexpected change of events by Azealia.

  • In the video, Young Fly and Azealia’s teams go head to head in a game of ‘So Petty’

When it was the D.C.-native comedian’s turn to go up to bat, he jabbed Azealia with a joke about her femcee foe, Cardi. “My boy Nick Cannon is so petty, he couldn’t get Cardi B so he got Azealia’s ugly a**,” he joked. The crowd and members of the stage burst into laughter, but it was clear from the “212” rapper’s face that the quip might have cut a little deeper than Young Fly assumed.

  • ‘Sorry, can I just say that was very anti-Black,’ she said after the laughter quelled…

“I didn’t think that was funny.”

From the video, it’s clear that her team members tried to lighten her up some. But judging by the social media warfare that went down after the show’s filming, their attempts were unsuccessful.
