Young Dolph Addresses Near Fatal Shooting In New Video 'Believe Me'
While it's only been a week since Young Dolph was discharged from the hospital after a nearly fatal shooting in Hollywood, the Memphis rapper has wasted no time getting back to work.
Dolph's near brush with death has served as the inspiration behind his new video for "Believe Me," a single off his forthcoming project Thinking Out Loud. Under the direction of ShotBySpencer, we find Dolph in his hospital bed as he prepares to be discharged to leave. With a cast around his arm, we watch him triumphantly leave the hospital in spite of great odds stacked against him. Later on in the video, we see the rapper recuperating at home with his young son.
Considering this is the second attempt on Dolph's life which he's survived this year, he's got enough reason to feel invincible. Dolph took to Instagram to post a message to his fans and presumed haters following the premiere of the video. "Majority of these lame rappers wanted to get sum money jus so they can chase these thots and please these b****s. DOLPH made sure he got rich so he could give his kids the WORLD!!!," the rapper captioned a photo of him and his son in matching 'fits.
Thinking Out Loud, due out this Friday, was apparently recorded prior to the L.A. shooting. But that doesn't mean we won't see more references to Dolph's lack of fear for his foes. Peep the video for "Believe Me" below.
