Everyone's on Pins and Needles About Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma Competing at the BET Awards

It's. About. To. Go. Down.

Just when we thought we wouldn't be resurrecting the highly publicized beef between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj, with the former getting in one final jab during a recent appearance on The Real, their previously "deaded" beef has just swiftly risen again.

As reported earlier today (May 15) the 2017 BET Award nominees have officially been announced, and much to the surprise (and delight) of die-hard fans, both women are up for the category of Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.

In turn, loyal supporters of both have already begun defending their pick on Twitter, with some even daydreaming about the juicy magnitude of what's about to go down this summer.

The tension between the Terror Squad affiliate and the Pinkprint rapper first began brewing over a decade ago and started piling over earlier this year when Remy Ma unleashed her unforgiving diss track, "SHEther."

Minaj since responded, but did so on her own time to further emphasize how unbothered she is by Remy's threats to reclaim the throne of the Queen of Rap from underneath her. Minaj has previously held down the category of Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the past seven consecutive years.

With the 2017 BET Awards set to air on June 25, their beef feels as fresh as ever, with many already losing it on Twitter over the fact that yup, Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj will have no choice but to compete against each other.
