A Tribe Called Quest's Album Is Loaded With Incredible Features

Kendrick Lamar and Andre 3000 are just a few.

Ever since Q-Tip announced there would be a final A Tribe Called Quest album, hip-hop heads have been chomping at the bit to find out more.

Well, here’s some more info — and get ready to get geeked. In an interview with the New York Times, Tip and Jarobi revealed some of the artists slated to be on the forthcoming LP, titled We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service.

Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, Jack White, Elton John and Busta Rhymes are all slated to be on the project. Q-Tip had previously mentioned that Consequence will also be featured. He also revealed how the Jack White collaboration came to be. Apparently, it all began when he asked that the group to perform “Excursions” at a show.

“It’s one of those scenarios where we’re so excited to finally get to work together that it was exploding in a whole different direction,” he explained. According to Q-Tip, White didn’t bring any of his own gear to record. “He just took a guitar off the wall and plugged it in and just got his wizard on,” he said.
