Toni Braxton reportedly was checked into a hospital in Los Angeles this evening (October 3).

As reported, she was originally examined by a doctor in Atlanta last week who later gave her the go-ahead to relocate to the West Coast to seek treatment for her ongoing battle with lupus.

The singer publicly announced that she was diagnosed with lupus back in 2010. According to an update from her reps, she is doing better now and is already looking forward to starting rehearsals soon for her upcoming tour.

Additionally, as reported by TMZ, once her beau, Birdman, got wind of the news, he was on the first flight to L.A. to be by her side.
