Tiffany Haddish’s Ex-Husband Is Back On The Attack With New Accusations That She’s Been Lying On Him

She’s in more legal trouble over her book The Last Black Unicorn.

Tiffany Haddish just took an L in court against her ex-husband.

According to theJasmineBRAND, William Stewart won a first round of hearings against the actress/comedian, Simon & Schuster and Tucker Tibor Max. The court, according to documents, ruled against Haddish and her co-defendants who claim he had not done enough before filing suit to tell them to retract the defamation suit against him. They had previously filed a motion to declare. Stewart’s legal team responded.

Last month, a hearing was held with the court denying Haddish’s request and ruled that Stewart could pursue punitive damages against the defendants for comments she made about him in Tiffany’s book, The Last Black Unicorn.

William Stewart’s legal team provided content to the celebrity news website and says that Haddish’s publisher and co-author is mainly to blame for everything.

“I know that everyone is focused on defendant Haddish, but she didn’t do this alone. The publisher, Simon & Schuster has a questionable history – they, among other things, enabled Milos Yiannopoulos after he was banned from twitter for racist hate speech against comedian Leslie Jones. Simon & Schuster’s parent company is CBS who continues to settle lawsuits for a pattern of bad behavior by executives.

“Haddish’s ghost writer is Tucker Max and his entire writing career was built on disgusting attempts to exploit, belittle and objectify women without regard. This is not just about Haddish. The defendants have disregarded principle, decency, or accuracy when there is an opportunity to profit. William Stewart is just their latest victim. And they never expected him to have the courage to take on such powerful interests.”

William Stewart originally brought a lawsuit against Tiffany Haddish, Simon & Schuster, Inc. who publishing the book, and Tucker Tibor Max, the book’s actual author last year. Stewart, along with support from his mother, are seeking more than $1 million for damages.
