Tyrese’s Latest Move Will Make It Even Harder For Him To Regain Custody Of His Daughter

Another setback.

Tyrese takes another blow in his highly publicized custody hearing as, based on recent reports, he made a decision that may come back to bite him in the future.

This isn't the only L Tyrese has taken, lately, in his custody case. See what his ex said about his mental health in the BET Breaks video, above.

According to Page Six, the Fast & Furious star was scheduled to appear in court over the custody battle he's currently involved in with his ex-wife, Norma Gibson. However, he was a complete no-show, having his lawyer, Terry Levich Ross, who recently filed for a substitution of attorney, appear on his behalf in the Los Angeles Court.

While Tyrese was absent from the hearing, Norma's attorney, Aleen Khanjian, requested that the judge order that he undergo a mental evaluation. This comes on of the heels of his recent emotional and questionable outbursts on social media. The R&B crooner followed up, reasoning that his actions were a result of "psych meds" that didn't agree with him. The judge has not yet approved the request.

In addition to this demand, Khanjian claimed that the videos the singer recorded about his daughter, Shayla, are in direct violation of the gag order that his client received preventing him from discussing the toddler online.

As of late, Tyrese's Instagram account has been made private.
