Queen Latifah pledged allegiance to the rainbow flag on Tuesday night. The actress and model showed up at Miami gay club Twist and joined a drag queen onstage, the New York Daily News reports. The performer, clad in a pink-and-green camo Spandex onesie, had just completed his routine when, an insider says, Latifah “came out of the shadows,” and “clapping, smiling and grooving,” got on stage and started kissing the drag queen’s cheeks."
The source said the “gay boys in the club were going wild” for Latifah, who was there with a large posse.
It's certainly no secret Queen Latifah knows how to have fun, but her unexpected drop-in isn't going to do much to calm those ever-present rumors about her sexuality. In the past, Latifah has refused to discuss the matter, saying, "I don’t have to explain anything. I don’t have to confirm anything. Look, I need my time. I need my life."
Looks like she's living it exactly as she wants to.
