Cardi B Unleashed A Mouthful For Nicki Minaj’s ‘Barbz’ And They Are Raising Hell
In addition to Cardi B’s new “Money” single, preemptively dropped on Tuesday (October 23), two days before its original Thursday (October 25) release, the Bronx femcee let some things off of her chest on Instagram Live not only for the devout Bardi Gang, but for the diehard Barbz of Nicki Minaj too.
Cardi simply explained that the hate she receives from Nicki’s fans is actually love in disguise, proven by what she considers their obsessive social media tracking of practically her every move. According to Cardi, they even show up quicker than her own fans whenever a new Bardi drop is on the rise, like a new flick, visual, or in this case, a new single. She didn’t directly address the rumors claiming that Nicki fans attempted to stop the Bardi bag by leaking “Money” before its scheduled drop date. However, she does have a message for the anti-Cardi division of the Barbz Army that’s got Nicki’s entire kingdom on the defense.
‘They always posting me, they always post everything I do, you know what I’m saying,’ she said on her Instagram Live, addressing the fans…
“They claim they hate me, but they really love because they be on my page before my fans.” Cardi’s convinced that the Barbie barrage is more of an indication of their adoration for her than adversity. She’d already name-dropped the Barbz on her IG Live, she added, so it was no sense in “retracting” her statements, which she was sure that fans would take and run with.
As comments on the IG Live began piling up, Cardi dropped another Barbie bomb, asserting that she’s finally addressing the fanbase issues for everyone to hear the truth. “I’m sick and tired of f**king lying about it,” she said. “About certain sh**. They seem like my biggest f**king fans. Always on my f**king page. Always doing the most. Always on my nuts. Seem like you my fan!”
It goes without saying that the Barbz didn’t take kindly to Cardi’s commentary…
And as did Bardi, they held nothing back in response to the Invasion of Privacy rapper. That went for her Bardi Gang as well, who some pointed out has directed the same love-hate energy she described to Nicki as well.
