Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaboration LP, Watch The Throne, is now reigning supreme in 23 countries. The momentous release, which is currently an iTunes exclusive, is number one digital album in the US, the UK, Mexico, Australia and 18 other nations.
The rap superstars made the decision to make the album at first a digital only release as part of a strategy designed to prevent it from leaking. The physical copy will be released to stores on August 12. A deluxe version of the LP will be avaiable exclusive to Best Buy until the 23rd.
Prior to the album's release, Ye and Jay hosted a star-studded sneak preview at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. A video for the album's lead single, “Otis,” shot by A-list video director Spike Jonze, is forthcoming.
