2 Chainz Enlists The Moms Of YG And Offset For Perhaps The Best Rap Video Of 2018
It was a family affair at 2 Chainz’ latest music video shoot as he asked his favorite woman if she’d participate.
According to pictures and video from the Atlanta rapper’s own Instagram account, he enlisted his mom, along with Shonee Jackson (YG’s mom) and the mother of Offset.
Directed by Joe Moore, the video is something 2 Chainz called “amazing” and we’re chomping at the bit to see it.

“Yesterday was amazing, I wish my pops was here but I know he looking down,” he captioned under a gallery of photos from the shoot. ”[It’s] the most genuine smile I’ve had all year.”
The video will reportedly be for 2 Chainz’ song “PROUD” from his EP The Play Don’t Care Who It Makes and was filmed on Friday (March 9). YG also shared a moment about the video.

“Our mommas went brazy yesterday,” he captioned under an IG pic from the video.
Speaking of YG, it's not unprecedented for his mother to be involved music he works on. Back in 2014, the Compton emcee had her in the intro to his debut album My Krazy Life. Jackson told BET about the experience at the time.
“At first he was kind of like upset that I was there, and then he was like, ‘Well, I guess since you’re here, you might as well do the intro to my album,” she said for our 2014 Hip Hop Mothers special. “So once YG wrote down what he wanted me to say, I went into the sound booth and I killed it.”
It’s safe to say that all three men are making their mothers proud.
