Wale's Ruthless Clapback at Tomi Lahren Has #BlackTwitter Screaming Praise
The Twitter tug-of-war between Washington, D.C.-bred rap star Wale and The Blaze’s now-unemployed conservative commentator and host Tomi Lahren is truly a 140-character sight to see.
As an avid Donald Trump supporter, Lahren has aligned many of her views and rhetoric with the former reality television star in office on several topics like immigration and the Black community with regard to unemployment and drugs. Fittingly typified by some as the “White Power Barbie,” Lahren’s hostess seat on the conservative, multi-platform network was ideal when she landed her own show in 2016. That is, until she voiced pro-choice sentiments that led to a pink slip being handed to her in March of this year.
But that doesn’t mean she’ll keep her intolerant views and defense of Trump off of social media. Consequentially, however, that also doesn’t mean her Twitter nemesis Wale will let up on his reminder of her unemployment status and Black Twitter’s follow-up on the memo.
