Here's Why Tyson Beckford Pulled a Gun on a 'Very Large White Guy'

Social media weighed in on the model's decision.

Tyson Beckford made a really bold move recently after he pulled a gun on a process server. The supermodel says he had a pretty logical explanation though, saying the guy showed up at his door unannounced wearing an eye patch.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred last Thursday when the man in question knocked on the door of Tyson's Miami apartment at around 9 a.m. He said when Tyson opened the door, he explained to him that he was there to serve him with a lawsuit where the model was being sued for allegedly failing to promote and market his Beckford Bar exercise equipment.

Things took a sharp turn when Tyson proceeded to slam the door in his face, but it was too late for the model to dodge the papers as the process had already been done and the man proceeded to leave the papers at the door. He explained that after putting the papers on the doorstep, he saw Tyson swing open the door with a gun in his hand, demanding he leave the building.

TMZ caught up with the model, who admitted to pulling the gun, but said he became paranoid as he lives in a secure building and was alarmed that someone started knocking at his door without any advance warning. He said he felt threatened when he saw "a very large white guy with an eye patch" who refused to identify himself.

Tyson also added that he has a concealed weapons permit, allowing him to carry a gun. The process server reportedly did not file a police report.
