Raekwon, Ghostface Killah Offering Mixtape Reviews for $200 Donations
Raekwon and Ghostface Killah have come up with a unique way to raise money for the Purple Tape Flies, a documentary they plan to release about the making of the Only Built 4 Cuban Linx LP. The New Yorkers are offering up mixtape reviews in exchange for $200 donations to their crowdfunding page, Complex reports.
On top of a personal review, the $200 donation buys career advice from the Chef and Tony Stark. “We'll open up our PERSONAL studios to our favorite artists from the auditions to host a recording session and work with YOU on how to improve that sound and make something iconic,” reads a description on the donation website.

The hip hop duo is accepting smaller donations too, such as $20 for a “20th Anniversary Purple Tape Sticker,” $35 for the “Swag Pack” (comprised of stickers, a hat, and a keychain), or $75 for a commemorative autographed poster.
Rae and Ghostface revealed plans for the documentary during the Sundance Film Festival in January. “It’s about the people being able to get all the answers that they wanted when they heard this album,” he said at the time.
The crowdfunding campaign wraps in May.
