Jay Z Owes 100k to Charity After Cotto-Canelo Fight
Unfortunately, presence is not enough to fulfill the loss Jay Z just took.
The legendary rap hustla completed date night with Bey at the Miguel Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez match in Vegas, Saturday, where he had had a $100,000 wager on the line. And, needless to say, he wasn't betting on Canelo besting his Roc Nation signee 117-111, 118-110, and 119-109, in unanimous decisions for the middlewight champion of the world title.
Hova had put the money up alongside Oscar De La Hoya, who manages Canelo, and will pay it out to a charity of the Golden Boy's choosing.
"It's a win win for everybody," Hoya told TMZ.
Perhaps next time, Cotto will use Kev's shoulder roll move:
